The Retreat Program

Coastal landscape in Baja California Sur near retreat locations

Retreat programs take place in Baja California Sur, Mexico.

Clear Dawn Advisory facilitates access to ibogaine retreat programs delivered by independent providers in Baja California Sur, Mexico.

These programs combine medical supervision, structured preparation, and post-experience integration planning. This is not a vacation. It is not a quick fix.

Every engagement begins with a private conversation. Clarity comes before decision. We collect only the information necessary to coordinate your experience, and never sell or share your data without your explicit written consent. All personal information is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymized within 90 days.

This is an opportunity to:

  • Share your background
  • Discuss your goals
  • Ask direct questions
  • Understand risks
  • Determine whether it makes sense to proceed

There is no pressure to commit.

  3. Intake and orientation
  4. Preparations and group building
  5. Medically supervised ibogaine treatment
  6. Recovery
  7. Medically supervised bufo ceremonies
  8. Integration planning and follow-up

Retreat Locations

Programs take place in Southern Baja California Sur, Mexico.

Primary locations include:

  • Todos Santos
  • San José del Cabo

These locations offer relaxed but controlled environments where medical supervision and retreat logistics can be coordinated effectively.

Medical & Psychological Screening

Medical screening may include:

  • Detailed medical history
  • Medication review
  • Cardiac screening such as ECG
  • Laboratory testing when appropriate
  • Psychological assessment

Ibogaine carries real medical risk. Not everyone qualifies. Eligibility decisions are made by the medical provider, not Clear Dawn Advisory.

Preparation Phase

Preparation begins before traveling and may include:

  • Medication coordination with your physician
  • Stabilizing sleep and nutrition
  • Setting expectations
  • Identifying support structures
  • Beginning integration planning

The quality of preparation directly impacts the experience. This phase is not optional.

Travel to and from Mexico

Treatment occurs in Mexico, where ibogaine administration is legal.

You will:

  • Travel to / from San Jose
  • Jump on a shuttle for a quick ride to the facility
  • Complete final evaluations on site
  • Review informed consent documentation and other related paperwork
  • Meet the clinical team responsible for your care

Treatments

Ibogaine sessions are long and physiologically demanding. Experiences often include:

  • Deep memory recall
  • Emotional processing
  • Physical fatigue
  • Intense introspection
  • Periods of clarity
  • Medical staff monitor you throughout the process

This is not recreational. It can be challenging. Many participants describe it as meaningful and sobering rather than euphoric.

Recovery, Stabilization & Reflection

Our experiences are complete with meals, hydration, healing ceremonies, massages, discussion and sharing opportunities. Recovery is not just physical, we create the space you'll want to process your experience.

Following treatment, there is a period of rest and stabilization.

During this time, participants often report:

  • Reduced cravings
  • Emotional clarity
  • Fatigue
  • Heightened sensitivity
  • Cognitive shifts

You are monitored during recovery at the facility before returning home.

Returning Home

Returning home is a critical phase.

Ibogaine may interrupt patterns, but long-term outcomes depend on what follows.

Before departure, you will have:

  • A structured integration plan
  • Recommendations for continued support
  • Clear expectations for re-entry into daily life

This is not the end of the process. It is the beginning of sustained change.

Your Role in the Process

This only works if you:

  • Disclose your full medical history
  • Follow preparation guidelines
  • Engage honestly during screening
  • Commit to integration afterward
  • Maintain accountability when you return home

There are no passive participants.

What It Is Not

To be clear:

  • It is not guaranteed to cure addiction or PTSD.
  • It does not replace long-term therapy.
  • It is not suitable for everyone.
  • It does not eliminate the need for personal responsibility.

Ibogaine may create a reset window. What you do with that window matters.
